They plotted to arrest and kill Him, threatened by His following

For it was written in the scriptures, He knew it was His destiny

Beaten, condemned Him to death
Tortured, a slow painful death
Suffered, He took His last breath
Risen, He rose from the dead

Arrested and brought before the courts, innocent but sentenced to death
They beat Him and spat in His face, scourged and mocked the mob demanded death
At midday the sky became dark, darkness covered all the land
At the 9th hour His suffering had ended, as He uttered His final words

Call to arms, a lust for war, peace must be destroyed

The tanks roll in, to city streets, fire lights up the sky
It's the warmongers that you must defend, you must prepare to die

Another city is destroyed, war is the real enemy

In the end, what does it solve? Learn from lessons past

Ice caps melting, erosion of the earth, society on the decline
Cold as ice, you try to keep warm, thaw out that cold heart
Stop the flood, erase the torment, a torrent of disaster
See the haze, smell the stench, the pollution of the body and the mind

Pollution spreading everywhere, global warning, be aware
Raging seas, climate change, weather the storm, end of reign

Contagious, terrorise, spreading anxiety and fear

The Plague has spread, a new outbreak

Or are these crimes against humanity?

Infectious, viruses, weapons of mass profit
Pharmaceutical, companies, billions of dollars made
Campaign, a new strain, are these viruses created by man?
Anthrax, vaccine, what's the next human extinction?
