from the Oder
Bolshevik hordes
invading our sacred European soil
Last knights in the last bastion
they stand firm and proud
Vowed to die rather than surrender
- for the Fatherland
There is no retreat,
nor surrender, only honour
Victory is lost
but road is still open to Valhalla
Fighting to the last breath
- the bravest soldiers of Wotan
Defiant to the end for blood,
honour and fatherland
One’s own death has
no meaning in this final battle
Last moments of your life
will now become a legend
In each kill your will triumphs
over the enemy
In bloodlust you fight
and finally die for the ideal
Enemy approaches
and storms the bastion
All his comrades are fallen
and now it is his time
Last shot that ends one Bolshevik life
Before he goes down
in the hail of bullets
You may desecrate his lifeless corpse
You may lay him down
into nameless grave
He may be forgotten
and judged to disgrace
But his defiance will echo
